Hello folks, it’s mid July which can only mean one thing……..that’s right Money In The Bank!
This time it’s me Matt that will be your author as Andrew is away on some musical escapades at T in the park. Lucky sod.
Anyway let’s get cracking as we’ve got a big card to get through.
We’ll start with the first match on the kick off. Continue reading MITB 2013 predictions
I did a post last year looking at the chances for each individual involved the Money In The Bank Ladder Matches, and I’m back to do the same again this year! This post will be for the WWE Championship MITB, or as it has been dubbed this time around, the “All-Star” match. I’ll have another one up in the next day or two for the World Heavyweight Championship – or as I would call it, the “Next Generation” MITB match, though that may be too similar to NXT. The reason I’m doing them in this order is because I find the All-Star MITB much easier to judge.
There are going to be 4 categories I’m using: Possible – for those I think have a chance of winning; and I wouldn’t be surprised if they did, Unlikely – for those that have an outside chance of winning but won’t, None – for those who really don’t have a realistic chance, and of course Winner – for the man who I would expect to win. So let’s get right into it, and why not start with the only man to have won the match twice! Continue reading Who Will Win the All-Stars Money In The Bank Ladder Match
I’m back! After a short, unscheduled hiatus (for which I apologise) I have returned to the world of wrestling blogging! First things first, best wishes to Jerry Lawler. Here’s hoping he recovers soon and returns to the commentary desk before long! I know there’s a lot of people out there who don’t like the commentary team right now on Raw, but no one wishes this kind of thing to happen to anybody. Also a lot of credit goes to Michael Cole, Bret Hart, John Cena, CM Punk and everyone else who went out and performed on Raw for the way they handled the situation.
But in true WWE style, the show must go on, and their next show is the Night of Champions PPV in just under 23 hours time! There are 7 matches announced, plus a pre-show battle royal. So, without further ado, here we go! Continue reading Night Of Champions 2012 Predictions
First of all, I want to apologise to anybody reading. At the end of the last set of predictions, I said I was working on an article looking at the main event scene in the WWE, but because of exams (and the World Heavyweight Championship match tonight) it has been put on hold, possibly permanently.
Anyways, there’s a PPV tonight, with 5 announced matches… Continue reading Over The Limit 2012 Predictions
The first PPV after Wrestlemania is always exciting for one reason or another, but this year is even more special since we witness the return of Brock Lesnar! I know I can’t be the only one excited. Let’s do this! Continue reading Extreme Rules 2012 Predictions
Now that the post-Wrestlemania hype has pretty much subsided, I wanted to look at something completely different from the big event – music. Entrance music is a vital part of a wrestler’s arsenal. It’s what identifies them in the eyes of the common fan. When that first note hits… that’s when a wrestler gets the biggest pop. That’s when shivers go down the spine. It’s often the little things that distinguish between a good and great superstar, and the music – often even just the first note or two – is perhaps the most important of those little things. Good music should be instantly recognisable, and be relative to the character they are playing – they should tell the fans something about that individual. And it does help if it’s just a good song. This is a list of music that I rate highly (feel free to disagree, it’s all my opinion), because they do the job they have well.
